Two National Championships for Youth Program
Team Tuned Season Review: October 31, 2011

Team Tuned Motorcycle Racing's Youth Development Program has completed its fifth consecutive season in Bermuda's local motorcycle racing championship organized by the Bermuda Motorcycle Racing Club. The dedication shown by both the program's participants and its sponsors has enabled the team to achieve a further 2 national championship titles, 45 race victories and a total 65 podium finishes in 2011. We would like to congratulate our youth atheletes for their achievements in 2011:

Bruce Degrilla Jr. - 2011 BMRC GP125 National Champion
Kewuan Gilbert - 2011 BMRC Formula National Champion
Shae Darrell - 2011 BMRC GP80 Thid Place

Inclusive of the 2011 results the program has now achieved 7 national championships, 152 race victories with a total of 286 podium finishes since it was established in 2007.

Bermudian riders to compete in End of Summer CycleFest
Team Tuned travelling to Virginia to compete in National Event

On September 22, 2011 Team Tuned Motorcycle Racing well be travelling with a group of four young Bermudian riders to compete in an international event in Alton, Virginia, USA. The event has been organized by the USGPRU and the Champion Cup Series (CCS) to be held at the Virginia International Raceway on September 24th and 25th, 2011.

Bruce Degrilla Jr (15), Shae Darrell (13), Kewuan Gilbert (17) and Jordan Fletcher (20) will be competing across several race classifications during the upcoming event this weekend against top riders in America. The riders will compete within the following classifications over the two day event:

The USGPRU is the officially recognized 125 Grand Prix National Championship and 250 Grand Prix National Championship series in the United States of America. The USGPRU provides a unique opportunity for riders by providing extended length grand prix racing with timed qualifying and superb contingency and sponsor support. Race and practice format is designed to prepare riders for the experience of 2-wheel racing at the highest levels.
